Our Graduate from the EEE Department Received Prestigious MTCP-2022 Scholarship Offered by the Malaysian Government

We are delighted to inform you that Md. Imamul Islam (Student ID: 163010043), an EEE graduate from the 163 Evening batch, has been awarded the most prestigious scholarship offered by the Malaysian government, named “Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP)-2022,” which is sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia. This year, only 14 students from 144 developing nations were chosen to be awarded this prestigious scholarship. We are pretty proud of him for being the only Bangladeshi to receive the MTCP in recent years. He is pursuing an MSc (Research-based) in Sustainable Energy & Power Electronics at Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) under this scholarship.
Previously, Md Imamul Islam also worked as a Lab Lecturer in the department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Green University of Bangladesh. In 2021, he has received a ‘Silver Award’ in an international exhibition ‘RICES 2021’ for his innovative project titled Artificial Sun Simulator for Solar PV Testing in Indoor Environment.
