Successful completion of the Fresher’s Orientation program of Dept. of EEE – Spring 2022

We are glad to inform you that the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) had successfully organized the virtual Fresher’s Orientation Program for Spring 2022 on February 2, 2022.
It is our great pleasure to inform you that Dr. ASM Shihavuddin, Associate Professor and Chairperson, Department of EEE, Prof. Dr. Fayzur Rahman, Treasurer, Prof. Dr. Md. Quamrul Ahsan, Distinguished Professor, Department of EEE, faculty members, departmental coordination officers, newly admitted students, and students from different batches were present at this event. More than 230 participants participated in the event.

The orientation began at 6.30 PM with the recitation from holy Quran by Md. Abu Raihan. At the beginning, Dr. ASM Shihavuddin, welcomed all the freshers to the EEE green family and ensured to aid the students with the best quality of education.

Mr. Sourav Barua, Lecturer, dept of EEE, mentioned the importance of Program Coordinators with the students. He also focused on various useful links that might be helpful for the freshers. Ms. Rabeya Akter Rabu, Lecturer, Dept of EEE introduced all the faculty members and departmental coordination officers to the students. Shourov Saha, Lecturer, Dept of EEE, discussed the mentorship program with the students. Ahmed Jaudat Nahian, Lecturer (Sr. Level), Dept of EEE, shared the departmental achievements with the freshers. Reaz Ahmed Hridoy spoke of their expectations, dreams and goals on behalf of the 221 fresher batch. Sakib Abdul Ahad, Alumni, Dept. of EEE, inspired the freshers by his inspirational speech.

Prof. Dr. Fayzur Rahman, Treasurer, Green University of Bangladesh, emphasized on the laboratory facilities and mentioned the strength of faculty members of the department of EEE.

Prof. Dr. Md. Quamrul Ahsan, Distinguished Professor, highlighted the strengths and prospects of the department of EEE with the students. He also emphasized on acquiring basic knowledge for becoming a skilled professional engineer. He thanked the organizers, faculty members, guests, and students for making this online orientation program a successful event.
The entire program was hosted by Ahanaf Ahmed and Julekha Akter.
