Successful Completion of the Superiority of Mentorship Program, Fall 2022, Department of EEE

We are glad to inform you that the Mentorship Program, Department of EEE, GUB successfully organized “Superiority of Mentorship Program (Orientation of 223 Batch & Closing ceremony of 222 Batch) on 3^rd October, 2022 by using the ZOOM platform. 

It is our great pleasure to inform you that Prof. Dr. ASM Shihavuddin, Professor and Chairperson, Department of EEE, Md. Hasan Maruf, Assistant Professor, Department of EEE, Mentor Moderators, Mentors, newly admitted students and students from the 222 batch were present at this event.

The program began at 07:00 PM. In the beginning, Md. Reazur Rahman, a mentor, described the objectives of the program and gave examples of the things the program will do.Then, Md. Nayem Sharker, a mentor, demonstrated the previous semester program activities to help the beginners understand.

Prof. Dr. ASM Shihavuddin, Professor and Chairperson, Department of EEE, highlighted the importance and benefits of the mentorship program. He encouraged all the freshers to be with this program. Also mentioned the previous successful activities of the program. He thanked the Mentor moderators, Mentors and students for making this program a successful event. Md. Hasan Maruf, Assistant Professor, Department of EEE, mentioned the strength of the program, appreciated the activities and thanked the Mentor Moderators and Mentors for organizing this program before the central orientation. He also advised the fresher students for being with the program.

On the floor where the new mentees were present, students from the previous semester shared their opinions of this program, the responses were favorable. So that the freshers will be inspired to start the mentorship program in the Fall 2022.

Md. Najmul Huda Bijoy, Lecturer & Mentor Moderator, Dept. of EEE, discussed the mentor and mentorship program with the students and he welcomed the fresher to be a part of EEE-Green. Md. Abdullah Al Oafi Himon, Lecturer (Lab Courses) & Mentor Moderator, Dept. of EEE, highlighted the glorious tradition of the program and advised them to stick with the program.

This was the official last meeting with the mentees of the summer 2022 batch. On this day, we also launched the fall mentorship program before the central orientation. The whole program was hosted by Nayem Sharker, Mentor of the EEE Department, GUB.
