EEE Departmental Freshers' Orientation - Fall 2026 Semester

The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Green University of Bangladesh held its Freshers' Orientation for Batch 262 on 27 September 2026 in Room B-207. The program was organized with the Green EEE Club. It welcomed the newest students of the Fall 2026 semester and introduced them to the department's people, achievements and opportunities.

The program began at 11:30 AM with a recitation from the Holy Quran by Saad Ibn Ahiz (Batch 260). Md. Ashaduzzaman Niloy, Lecturer, Dept. of EEE, then introduced the faculty members of EEE, Green. Next, Md. Istiac Ahmed, Lecturer, Dept. of EEE, gave a talk on the promising achievements of EEE, Green, highlighting the department's accomplishments and the path ahead for new students.

Md. Kanok Hossain(Batch 232) introduced the Green EEE Club through a short video, showing how students can take part in its activities beyond the classroom. The freshers then heard a speech of inspiration from Prof. Dr. Md. Quamrul Ahsan, Distinguished Professor, Dept. of EEE. Prof. Dr. Md. Fayzur Rahman, Professor, Dept. of EEE and Treasurer, GUB, followed with guidance on job prospects in electrical and electronic engineering. An alumni speech gave the new students a first-hand view of life after graduation.

Dr. Md. Hasan Maruf, Associate Professor and Chairperson, Dept. of EEE, delivered the vote of thanks to all faculty members, guests, alumni, the Green EEE Club and the volunteers whose efforts made the orientation a success.
