We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the Freshmen Orientation Program – Spring 2025 for the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Green University of Bangladesh. The event took place on January 30, 2025, at 2:00 PM in room J - 111, welcoming our newest batch of students with an engaging and informative session.
The program commenced with an introduction to the faculty members and a showcase of the department’s notable achievements, conducted by Md. Ashaduzzaman Niloy, Lecturer, Dept. of EEE. This was followed by an inspiring speech from Prof. Dr. Md. Quamrul Ahsan, Distinguished Professor, Dept. of EEE, who motivated the newcomers with valuable insights.
Subsequently, Md. Atiqul Islam, Lecturer, Dept. of EEE, provided an informative presentation on the role of Program Coordinators, ensuring that the students clearly understood their academic guidance framework. The importance of the Mentorship Program was then highlighted in a session led by Shaharior Anik, Lecturer, Dept. of EEE.
The orientation continued with the introduction of the EEE Club, the organizing body of the event, through a well-crafted video presentation. The attendees were further encouraged by an uplifting speech from Dr. Md. Fayzur Rahman, Professor, Dept. of EEE, and Treasurer, GUB.
To make the event more interactive, a Kahoot Quiz Session was conducted by A K M Shahabuddin, lecturer in physics, dept. of EEE, adding an element of fun and engagement. The winners of the quiz were awarded after a heartwarming speech to the students by our honorable Chairperson, Dr. Md. Hasan Maruf.
The program concluded successfully with a group photoshoot, capturing the enthusiasm of our newest members. The entire event was wholesome, interactive, and well-received by the students, setting a strong foundation for their journey at Green University of Bangladesh.
