Seminar on AI & Freelancing: The New Path to Career Success for EEE Graduates

The Green EEE Club of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Green University of Bangladesh, organized a seminar titled AI & Freelancing: The New Path to Career Success for EEE Graduates. The seminar was designed to help EEE students understand how artificial intelligence and the global freelancing marketplace are creating new career opportunities for engineering graduates beyond traditional employment paths.

The session was chaired by Dr. Md. Hasan Maruf, Associate Professor and Chairperson of the Department of EEE. The keynote was delivered by Shaikh Rafiul Mahmud, an AI educator, entrepreneur, and digital skills trainer.

The session focused on the growing role of AI in today’s job market and on how EEE graduates can use their technical background to build independent careers through freelancing. Students learned about the digital skills needed to succeed in remote and project-based work, how to get started on freelancing platforms, and how AI tools can increase productivity and open up new kinds of work.

The seminar received an enthusiastic response from students, who used the opportunity to engage with the speakers on career-related questions. Events like this reflect the department’s commitment to preparing graduates not only with strong engineering knowledge but also with the practical, future-ready skills needed in a fast-changing professional world.

The Green EEE Club extends its sincere thanks to the Guest of Honor, the Session Chair, the Keynote Speaker, faculty members, and all participating students for making the event a success.
