We are delighted to inform you about the successful completion of the live webinar titled “Navigating Global Master’s Opportunities: A Roadmap for Higher Studies Abroad”, held on 09 April 2026 via Zoom. More than 100 participants from the Department of EEE, Green University attended the session.

The session was chaired by Mr. Sourav Barua, Assistant Professor, Department of EEE, whose effective moderation ensured a smooth and engaging flow throughout the program. Dr. Mohammad Nazmus Sakib,  Associate Professor, Department of EEE appreciated the initiative, noting that although resources were limited, this effort has been highly valuable. He emphasized that such platforms are helping students develop essential skills and gain practical guidance, ultimately supporting their pursuit of higher studies abroad and expanding their opportunities.


Prof. Dr. ASM Shihavuddin, Professor, Department of EEE, also praised the initiative, describing it as an excellent platform for student development. He further highlighted Green University’s vision of supporting students over the next decade in accessing higher education opportunities across various countries and cities. Dr. Md. Hasan Maruf, Chairperson of the EEE Department, provided several insightful suggestions and expressed his sincere thanks to the keynote speaker for his valuable guidance.

The keynote speaker, Md. Aminul Islam Rifat, Erasmus Mundus MSc Scholar (DREAM Program), provided practical guidance on pursuing higher studies abroad. He discussed structured planning, country selection, documentation, SOP writing, recommendation letters, and financial preparation. He advised maintaining a minimum CGPA of 3.5 and IELTS score of 6.5, along with strengthening profiles through research experience, extracurricular activities, and language skills. He also suggested that students start preparing from the 3rd year so that there is no delay in securing admission after graduation. In addition, he presented a comparison of tuition fees for completing a Master’s program in EEE in different countries, helping students understand the financial requirements and plan accordingly. He also shared insights on scholarships, including European programs and South Korea’s GKS scholarship, as well as essential skills such as CV writing and communication.


Overall, the webinar delivered a clear roadmap, practical direction, and valuable insights, equipping students with the knowledge and confidence to plan their higher studies abroad effectively.
