Workshop on Final Year Design Project: Phase-wise Student Guidelines

he Capstone Project/Thesis Committee of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering conducted a hands-on workshop on “Final Year Design Project: Phase-wise Student Guidelines” targeting the final year students of different phases of the course EEE 400. The event took place on 23 August 2026 in the university premises. The workshop’s objective was to establish a firm foundation of the final year design project among the students. Around 40+ students of Phase I, Phase II, and Final Defense participated in the workshop. The workshop was facilitated by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Green University of Bangladesh. 

Md. Naiemur Rahman, Convener, Capstone Project/Thesis Committee conducted the workshop and briefed the students on the concept of final year design project from scratch. Additionally, he provided the guidelines on the phase-wise documentation required for the course. During the workshop, the committee answered different student queries related to the design process, complex engineering problem attributes, and responsibilities of the students. 

Md. Istiac Ahmed, Satirtha Paul Shyam, and Abdullah Al Oafi Himon, members of the committee assisted the participants throughout the workshop.
