Meet the Department
The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of the Green University of Bangladesh has organized the virtual ‘Meet the Department’ program for the first time ever on 27th June, 2020. The department felt about the requirements from the University Admission aspirants and their guardians for a platform to know more about our Department and get rid of doubts and confusion which marked the inception of this program titled ‘Meet the Department’.
The chairperson Dr. ASM Shihavuddin, Distinguished Professor Dr. Md. Qamrul Ahsan, Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator Md. Hasan Maruf, Deputy Registrar Md. Mazharul Islam and almost all the lecturers, some of the previous and current students of the EEE department were present in the program to answer the queries of the University aspirants students, their guardians, and to share their experiences. The program was also live broadcast on Facebook.
The program started at 11.00 am with the recitation from the Holy Quran. After that, the chairperson gave a welcoming speech and a brief overview of the department. Besides this, the deputy registrar Md Mazharul Islam talked about the admission process, waivers, and different scholarships offered by the university. In program, some present students talked about their experience with online classes and how they achieved excellent results in this trying time by dint of their hard work, motivation, and also cooperation from the helpful faculty members.
