Seminar on “The Basics of Robotics to speed up the progression”

A seminar arranged by the students of EEE Club on “The Basics of Robotics to speed up the progression” had been successfully held on 24th August in zoom platform. Around 118 participants joined the seminar.  The distinguished professor and advisor of EEE dept. Prof. Dr. Md. Quamrul Ahsan inaugurated the Seminar. In his speech, He appreciated the students for their initiative to begin their journey to learn robotics. He also added that, in a view to become an expert in robotics for the future automation industry, students must acquire the knowledge of robotics, artificial intelligence and machine learning subjects.

The keynote speaker Meer shadman shafkat Tanjim commenced the seminar with a great rhythm and enthusiasm. In his presentation, the keynote speaker has elaborated the following topics like Robotics and its purpose, robot types, segments to be analyzed to start robotics, vital selections, segment integration, software collaboration, feature re-analysis and deployment, system debugging and upgradation, final packaging etc. The speaker also motivated the students to work hard if they want to enroll in their final year project on robotics and keep patience while working together. He also answered all the queries of the participants on seminar topics and committed to extend his helping hand if the students need any assistance in their robotics projects.

Another guest of honor, Honorable treasurer and former chairperson of EEE dept. Prof. Dr. Md. Fayzur Rahman thanked the keynote speaker for his effort to facilitate our students and ease their pathways to robotics and industrial automation. Professor fayzur Rahman shared his experience about mini cheetah robots and medical surgery robots.

Finally, the seminar was concluded by the session chair Dr. ASM shihavuddin, chairperson, dept. of EEE. In his speech, Dr. Shihav advised the EEE club members and students to continue their journey to learn robotics as the future automation industry without robotics is beyond imagination. The honorable chairperson accepted and agreed on a proposal of EEE club members to establish a robotics club in near future.
