Successful Completion of 2 Days “Workshop on PowerPoint Slide Making”

The Mentorship Program of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) successfully organized a two-day workshop on “PowerPoint Slide Making” on August 20 and 21, 2024, at 9 PM via the Zoom platform. Approximately 35 enthusiastic students from the 242-batch participated in this engaging event.

Day 01 – Basic Level
The first day of the workshop focused on fundamental skills for using MS PowerPoint. Participants explored essential tools, including:

  • Text and Font Usage
  • Table Formatting and Layout
  • Working with Backgrounds
  • Equations and Symbols for Slides
  • At the conclusion of Day 01, the mentors addressed queries from the audience and assigned an exercise on slide preparation to reinforce the day’s learning.

    Day 02 – Advanced Level
    On the second day, students presented their assignments, which were reviewed by our expert team. Participants received constructive feedback and guidance. The session then advanced to cover:

  • Slide Design Principles
  • Incorporating Visuals
  • Transitions and Animations
  • Presentation Skills
  • The workshop was exceptionally well-received, with students expressing appreciation for the practical approach adopted by the mentors. Participants left with a deeper understanding of how to create impactful PowerPoint presentations that will benefit them in their academic endeavors, future careers, and various extracurricular activities.
