Successful Completion of Freshers’ Orientation Program of Department of EEE- Spring 2023
We are glad to inform you that the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) and EEE Club jointly organized the “Freshers Orientation Program for Spring 2023” on 8th February at Seminar Hall( Room No-302).
It’s a great pleasure to inform you that Prof Dr. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir, Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dr. ASM Shihavuddin, chairperson, department of EEE and Prof Dr. Md. Nazmus Shakib, Associate Chairperson, Department of EEE PC, Dr. Md. Quamrul Ahsan, distinguished professor, dept. of EEE, faculty members, departmental coordination officers, newly admitted students and students from different batches were present at this event.
Prof. Dr. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Green University of Bangladesh encouraged the students to decide to be the finest kind of student in their university life and through this journey different perspectives will shape their life. Prof. Dr. ASM Shihavuddin highlighted the impact of their first day in Green University and encouraged them to achieve ethical values of human beings. Prof. Dr. Md. Nazmus Shakib motivated the students by describing the importance of the subject Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Prof. Dr. Md. Quamrul Ahsan shared his experience on the beautiful and respective relation between teacher and student and how it can be beneficial throughout our life.
At first the program started with Holy Quran Tilawat by Monzurul Islam Minar. The introduction of the faculty members session was followed by Mr. Sourav Barua, lecturer. Md. Atiqur Rahman Program coordinator department of the EEE, Permanent campus gave his speech about the program course structure of day and evening batches. Mr. Md. Najmul Huda Bijoy, lecturer, gave his speech about the discussion on the mentorship program. Md. Istiak Ahmed, lecturer, gave her speech about the glorious achievement of the EEE department. Among the freshers of the 231 batch, Jayanto Roy gave his speech about the reason behind choosing Green University of Bangladesh. The president of the EEE club gave his speech and introduced the club members. After that everyone enjoyed the central cultural segment.
