It is our great pleasure to inform you that on May 20, 2023, the Department of EEE successfully completed an industrial visit at Energypac Engineering Limited. Energypac is one of the leading Power Engineering Companies in Bangladesh, aspiring to be “The Best-in-class end-to-end engineering solution provider”. Energypac boasts state-of-the-art manufacturing, technology, and testing facilities, and produces a wide range of power products and services.

The number of students was 41, comprising both the 193 Batch and the 201 Batch. This visit was accompanied by three faculty members from the Department of EEE, Prof. Dr. Fayzur Rahman, Dr. Ahsanul Alam, and Nayem Sharker.

We started at 8:30 AM from City Campus and reached there at 10:30 AM. On behalf of Energypac, the Admin Executive Ms. Salma Khatun and the DGM & Head, HR and Admin Executive of Energypac, Mr. Ahmed Toufique Ahsan, welcomed us. At the very beginning they shared with us a well-planned schedule for the visit to their industry. The students were divided into two groups for their ease of learning, and two guides helped them navigate through each section of the industry.

The students visited sections named Instrument Transformer, Isolator, Switchgear Protection Department respectively. After lunch, they visited the Distribution Transformer, Power Transformer, Power Transformer Testing, and Dry Type Transformer Departments as well. These two groups were supervised by the faculty members. The students took notes of their learning in a notebook and posed questions to the assigned instructors of each department. All the department instructors encouraged the students to consider an internship in their industry.

Finally, the Admin Executive Ms. Salma Khatun bid farewell to the students and faculty members. The students and faculty members left the industry at 5:00 PM.

Lunch was provided by the industry, and it was a very fruitful and effective learning day for the students. They thoroughly enjoyed this opportunity to experience the practical field in their respective areas.
