Successful Completion of the Annual Picnic of EEE-2023

We are happy to inform you that we have completed the annual picnic of the department of EEE, GUB.

To remove the monotony and create a strong bonding among the faculty members, alumni, and students, the EEE Club has organized a picnic on 12 march, 2023 at Dhaka Resort, Gazipur, Dhaka. Honorable treasurer of the Green University of Bangladesh Prof. Dr. Md. Fayzur Rahman, Chairperson of EEE Dept. Dr. ASM Shihavuddin, Dr. Nazmus Sakib sir, associate head permanent campus, deputy moderator of EEE Club MM Naushad Ali, deputy moderator Rukhshana Parvin, deputy moderator EEE -Club permanent campus Rabeya Akter Rabu and some other faculty members and students of EEE department attended this picnic Around 290 people attended this annual picnic of the department of EEE.

We started our journey early in the morning and reached our destination at 10:40 am. We took our breakfast on the bus. After reaching there everyone started to enjoy themselves. Some were swimming in the swimming pool, some were taking pictures, etc. Many sports competitions took place such as cricket, football, rope pulling, circuit-solving races, treasure hunts, etc. For female students, many sports were arranged like pillow throwing, collecting balls, etc. For male and female faculty members there were also some sports like cricket, shooting the stamp, collecting balls, etc.

At 2 PM, lunch was served. Everyone enjoyed the food so much. The food was so delicious. Then the leadership award-giving ceremony started. The leadership award was given to the outstanding leaders of the EEE club, Mentors of the EEE department, and interns of EEE-Green. Then the cultural segment started. A Band named “গানসৈনিক” was hired for this event. Everyone enjoyed the segment. One of our faculty Takvir Anam performed a famous song for the audience. The students of the EEE department also performed various songs in this segment. Then the prize-giving ceremony was held. A raffle draw was arranged. It was a dramatic segment and everyone enjoyed this event so much. Our honorable treasurer of Green University, Prof. Dr. Md. Fayzur Rahman sir shared some words for students about the picnic. Then, Dr. ASM Shihavuddin sir delivered his speech among the participants. This is how we wrapped up an amazing experience and headed to our university again.
