Successful Completion of the Freshers’ Orientation Program, Fall 2022, EEE- Green

We are glad to inform you that the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) had successfully organized the “Fresher’s Orientation Program for Fall 2022” on 4 th October 2022.
It is our great pleasure to inform you that Prof. Dr. Md. Golam Samdani Fakir, Vice-Chancellor, Green University of Bangladesh; Prof. Dr. ASM Shihavuddin, Professor and Chairperson, Department of EEE, Prof. Dr. Fayzur Rahman, Treasurer; Dr. Molla Shahadat Hossain Lipu, Associate Professor; Department of EEE, faculty members, departmental coordination officers, newly admitted students, and students from different batches were present at this event.

The orientation began at 11:40 AM with the recitation from Holy Quran by Rashedul Islam. In the beginning, Prof. Dr. Fayzur Rahman, Professor and Treasurer, highlighted the strengths and future prospects of the department of EEE to the students. He also emphasized acquiring basic knowledge for becoming a skilled professional engineer.

Ms. Ordatun Jannat, Lecturer, Dept. of EEE introduced all the faculty members and departmental coordination officers to the students. Ms. Shahela Akter, Lecturer, Dept. of EEE, mentioned the importance of Program Coordinators. Md. Najmul Huda Bijoy, Lecturer, Dept. of EEE, discussed the
mentorship program with the students, and Ms. Rukshana Parvin, Lecturer, Dept of EEE, shared the departmental achievements with the freshers. Kaniz Fatema spoke of their expectations, dreams, and goals on behalf of the 223 fresher batches. Prof. Dr. Fayzur Rahman, Treasurer, Green University of
Bangladesh, emphasized the laboratory facilities and mentioned the strength of faculty members of the department of EEE. He also motivated and advised the fresher students for their future.

Honorable Chairperson, Dept. of EEE, Prof. Dr. ASM Shihavuddin, ensured to aid the students with the best quality of education. He also mentioned the achievements and research activities of the department of EEE. He thanked the organizers, faculty members, guests, and students for making this orientation program a successful event. Every student enjoyed this segment and cheered with the performers.
