Successful Completion of the Orientation of Mentorship Program, Spring 2023, Department of EEE

It is our great pleasure to inform you that Prof. Dr. ASM Shihavuddin, Professor and Chairperson, Department of EEE, Mentor Moderators, Mentors, newly admitted students, and students from the 223 batch were present at this event.

At 7:00 PM, the program started. A mentor named Mina Akter initially welcomed the newcomer.

Md. Najmul Huda Bijoy, Lecturer & Mentor Moderator, Dept. of EEE, chaired the session. He also discussed the mentorship program and welcomed the new students to join EEE-Green.

Rakebul Jannat Rasel, a mentor, then went on to outline the program’s goals and provided examples of the actions the program will take.

After that Minhaz Ul Karim Asif, a mentor, tried to give the beginners an explanation by demonstrating the program activities from the previous semester.

Prof. Dr. ASM Shihavuddin, Professor and Chairperson, Department of EEE, highlighted the importance and benefits of the mentorship program. He urged all of the freshers to join this program. The program’s prior successful endeavors are also mentioned. For helping to make this program a success, he praised the Mentor moderators, Mentors, and students. Additionally, he provided advice to the program’s fresher students.

Students from the previous semester expressed their satisfaction about the program on the platform where the new mentees were present. In order to motivate the newcomers to commence the mentoring program in the spring of 2023.

Mr. Kamran Ahmmed, Lecturer & Mentor Moderator, Dept. of EEE, welcomed newcomers and made supportive comments regarding mentors and mentorship programs.

Md. Abdullah Al Oafi Himon, Lecturer (Lab Courses) & Mentor Moderator, Dept. of EEE, highlighted the glorious tradition of the program and advised them to stick with the program.

This was the official last meeting with the mentees of the Fall 2022 batch. On this day, we also launched the fall mentorship program before the central orientation. The whole program was hosted by Mina Akter, Mentor of the EEE Department, GUB.
