We are pleased to inform you that the day-long workshop titled “OBE Practices: Assessment Conduction, Outcome Measurement and Improvement Planning” has been successfully completed as part of our ongoing preparation for BAETE Accreditation. The workshop was held on 3rd May 2026 from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM at Room E104, with active participation and engagement from faculty members throughout the day. The program featured three structured work sessions that ensured hands-on progress and practical outcomes:
• Work Session 1: Review of existing course files (identifying missing and faulty items)
• Work Session 2: Preparation of missing documents and correction of identified issues
• Work Session 3: Final correction and completion of course files
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our respected speakers and facilitators for their invaluable contributions:

Dr. Md. Hasan Maruf, Chairperson and Associate Professor, Department of EEE, opened the workshop with an inspiring session emphasizing the importance of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) in ensuring academic quality and international recognition. He highlighted the need for faculty ownership, consistency in documentation, and alignment between course outcomes and program objectives, motivating participants to actively engage in each work session.
Dr. Mohammed Nazmus Shakib, Additional Director, IQAC and Associate Professor, EEE, delivered comprehensive and insightful discussions on OBE practices, assessment strategies, and BAETE accreditation requirements. He elaborated on effective assessment conduction, proper mapping of Course Outcomes (COs) with Program Outcomes (POs), outcome measurement techniques, and data-driven improvement planning, guiding participants on how to ensure accuracy and compliance in course files.
Mr. M. M. Naushad Ali, Assistant Professor, Department of EEE and Convenor, CQI Committee, played a key facilitative role throughout the workshop. He along with the CQI team provided hands-on support in reviewing course files, identifying gaps, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining consistency across all records. His continuous monitoring and cross-checking ensured that each session achieved its intended outcomes effectively..

We also extend our appreciation to all the CQI committee members and participating faculty members for their collaboration and active involvement, which made the workshop highly effective and outcome-oriented. The successful completion of this workshop marks a significant step forward in strengthening our OBE implementation and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
