Workshop on “Python Fundamentals: Your Journey into Coding”.

Green EEE Club of Green University of Bangladesh organized a workshop titled “Python Fundamentals: Your Journey into Coding”. The three-hour session, held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, gave students a practical starting point in programming through Python, one of the most widely used languages in engineering, data analysis, automation, and research.

Dr. Mohammed Nazmus Shakib, Associate Professor and Additional Director of the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), attended as Guest of Honor. The session was chaired by Shahriar Mahmud Kabir, Assistant Professor, and the keynote session was delivered by Mr. Satirtha Paul Shyam, Lecturer.

Designed for beginners, the workshop combined clear explanations with live coding demonstrations. Participants were introduced to the core building blocks of Python, including setting up a coding environment, variables and data types, operators, conditional statements, loops, and functions. Throughout the session, attendees worked through practice problems that showed how these concepts apply to real engineering and everyday tasks.

The workshop ended with an interactive question-and-answer segment, where participants discussed their learning paths and ways to keep building their programming skills after the session.

Through initiatives like this, the Green EEE Club continues to help students develop industry-relevant technical skills beyond the classroom and prepare for a technology-driven future.
