Workshop on “Industrial Robotics for Future Engineers: From Academic Concepts to Global Industry Careers”

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of “Industrial Robotics for Future Engineers: From Academic Concepts to Global Industry Careers,” organized by IEEE PES Green University of Bangladesh Student Branch Chapter in association with Ulterior Engineering Intl. on 5 October 2026 at Green University of Bangladesh.

The workshop provided participants with valuable insights into industrial robotics, automation, real-world applications, emerging technologies, and career opportunities, helping them connect academic knowledge with practical industrial applications.

The session featured Engr. Azizul Hakim Sobuj, Gazipur Branch Head, UE Energy & Control Training Division, Ulterior Engineering Intl.; Engr. Sayeb Bin Osman, Chief Business Development Officer, Ulterior Engineering; and Minhaz, Mentor, Training Division, Ulterior Engineering and an alumnus of the Department of EEE, Green University of Bangladesh. They shared their valuable industry experience, technical knowledge, and career-oriented insights with the participants.

The program was graced by Prof. Dr. Khawza Iftkhar Uddin Ahmed, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Green University of Bangladesh, as the Chief Guest. Dr. Md. Hasan Maruf, Chairperson and Associate Professor, Department of EEE, GUB, and Dr. Mohammed Nazmus Shakib, Associate Professor, Department of EEE and Advisor of IEEE PES GUB Student Branch Chapter, attended the event as Invited Guests.

The workshop highlighted the importance of industrial robotics and automation in modern industries and encouraged participants to strengthen their technical skills and prepare for future engineering careers.
