Green University of Bangladesh Secures 3rd in Bangladesh in THE Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026

Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) has achieved another significant international recognition by securing 3rd place in Bangladesh in the Times Higher Education (THE) Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026 (formerly known as the THE Impact Rankings).

In the global rankings, GUB has been placed in the 401–600 band among 1,646 universities from 116 countries, reflecting the University's growing global reputation for advancing sustainable development through excellence in education, research, innovation, and community engagement.

A particularly outstanding achievement is GUB's performance in Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 7: Affordable and Clean Energy, where the University secured 1st position in Bangladesh and 63rd position globally. This remarkable accomplishment highlights GUB's continued leadership in promoting clean energy initiatives, sustainability-focused research, and environmentally responsible practices.
