The Program Self Assessment Committee (PSAC) of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering organized a session on the accreditation process of the department entitled, “Accreditation Pathway: Visit Preparation & Workplan” on 08 June 2026. Prof. Dr. Md. Saiful Azad, Dean, Faculty of Science and Engineering, GUB conducted the session. The session was chaired by Dr. Md. Hasan Maruf, Associate Professor and Chairperson of the Department. 

As the department is taking preparation for several accreditation processes, the session intended to provide a thorough guideline on different aspects of accreditation, visit preparation, and work plan during the accreditation visit. Dr. Saiful Azad shared his key insights on different academic policies, rules, regulations, and procedures of GUB. He emphasized on having clear ideas on the departmental activities and the assessment report. 

Dr. Md. Hasan Maruf participated in the discussion and presented the queries and hurdles faced by the faculty members in different accreditation criteria. Additionally, the faculty members clarified their confusion on different academic and administrative processes of the university. 

The session ended with a vote of thanks to all the participants.
