The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Green University of Bangladesh, in association with the Green EEE Club, Alumni Committee, and the CQI Committee, successfully organized the Alumni Feedback Session on Curriculum held on 12 June 2026 (Friday) at Green University of Bangladesh. The session was arranged to collect structured feedback from the graduates of the Department on the existing EEE curriculum and to incorporate their professional perspectives into the continuing academic development of the programme.
The session was conducted immediately after the opening ceremony and panel discussion and was facilitated by Mr. M. M. Naushad Ali, Assistant Professor and Convener of the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Committee, Department of EEE, who served as the keynote speaker. The session was chaired by Dr. Md. Hasan Maruf, Associate Professor and Chairperson, Department of EEE, while Prof. Dr. ASM Shihavuddin, Director of CRITS and CETL, and Prof. Dr. Md. Fayzur Rahman, Treasurer of Green University of Bangladesh, were present as Guests of Honour.

During the session, the alumni evaluated the existing EEE curriculum and submitted their observations and recommendations through a structured online feedback form. Their professional experience enabled them to provide valuable perspectives on industry requirements, practical and laboratory skills, emerging technologies, and the competencies expected from present-day EEE graduates. As the participants represented private organizations, technology-driven enterprises, and public-sector institutions, the feedback reflected a broad and practical view of what the profession currently demands of engineering graduates.

The observations recorded during the session have been compiled and forwarded to the CQI Committee of the Department for review. These will be considered alongside feedback obtained from current students, faculty members, employers, and industry partners during the periodic curriculum review of the Department. The session also reaffirmed the willingness of the graduates to remain engaged with academic development on a continuing basis, providing the Department with a dependable channel for obtaining professional perspectives on curriculum matters in the future.
Overall, the session was conducted successfully and achieved its objective of bringing graduate and industry perspectives directly into the academic planning process, demonstrating the Department’s commitment to Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and to maintaining a curriculum that remains current, industry-relevant, and aligned with the expectations placed on present-day EEE graduates.
