Online Orientation Event, “The EEE Spark – Batch 252: Inspiring the Innovators of Tomorrow,”

We are delighted to share the successful completion of the online orientation event, “The EEE Spark – Batch 252: Inspiring the Innovators of Tomorrow,” organized by the Mentorship Program, Department of EEE, Green University of Bangladesh. The program was held on 22 September 2025 at 8:30 PM via Zoom and marked an inspiring start for our freshers.

The session began with a warm welcome from Shaharior Anik, Lecturer & Mentor Moderator, who also hosted the program with great enthusiasm. Following this, Atiqul Islam (PC), Lecturer & Program Coordinator, guided the students on how to access essential academic information, including class routines, teacher schedules, the university website, and the student portal.

Next, the student mentors presented an engaging slide introducing the various events they organize for freshers, along with the requirements and responsibilities of becoming a mentor. The session then became even more lively as Prof. Dr. ASM Shihavuddin, Director of CETL & CRITS, shared interactive insights that kept the students motivated. Afterwards, AKM Shahabuddin, Lecturer & Moderator of EEE Club, encouraged the students to participate actively in co-curricular activities. Finally, Dr. Md. Hasan Maruf, Chairperson of the Department of EEE, addressed the freshers with inspiring guidelines for their academic and personal growth, which marked a fitting close to the program.
