Digital Signal Processing lab

Digital Signal Processing lab

The Digital Signal Processing Laboratory at Green University offers an intellectually enriching environment where students explore the core principles and applications of signal processing through MATLAB-based experimentation. Beginning with the fundamentals of discrete-time signals and systems, the lab advances through essential topics such as signal sampling, reconstruction, Z-transforms, and Discrete-Time Fourier Transforms (DTFT). Students gain a comprehensive understanding of analog-to-digital conversion processes, including sampling, quantization, and encoding techniques. Real-world applications are emphasized through advanced projects like tumor detection from ultrasound images and bone fracture analysis, showcasing the interdisciplinary potential of DSP in biomedical engineering. Noise suppression in audio signals using adaptive filtering enables students to apply theoretical concepts in practical noise reduction scenarios.
